Inshore
We book only full day trips for redfish as we often run long distaces to the fish. A full day trip for up to two
anglers is $500. If you bring your own rods an 8 wt is minimal. We prefer anglers to fish 9 wt or 10 wt rods as
these fish can be huge - getting a shot at a red or black drum over 30 pounds is fairly common in the ponds of
1-2 foot water depth. You need a hefty rod to turn the fish and keep them out of structure. For light tackle
fishermen a 15-20 pound outfit on a 7 foot medium heavy or heavy action rod is adequate.

In the late spring and summer months enormous Jacks school in the Mississippi sound. These bruisers can
reach 40 plus pounds and are a handful on heavy tackle....and a blast on the fly. Anglers will also encounter
Bonito, Sharks, Cobia, Tripletail and other species on these trips. Anglers may be casting to these fish on flats
as they crash mullet or offshore around surface structure. We recommend 10wt to 12wt flyrods and heavy
action 20-30 pound outfits for the light tackle angler. This trip is $500 for a full day for up to two anglers.

Kayak enthusiasts will find plenty of opportunities to fish or tour the islands and marshes along the coast. We
guide these trips as well as work with other local pros to outfit your kayak trip. We use Heritage kayaks
exclusively and the local dealer stocks the popular Redfish sit on top for the rental fleet. Please call/email for
